I adore making this, I can alternate the turnip with other root vegetables, such as celeriac, butternut squash and suede. This is the closest you get to feeling like a hot bowl of chilli on a cold day and I must say, with an extra dash of cayenne over the top, I’m warm from head to toe.
Process the nuts, turnip and carrots in a food processor and then add the raisins, place the remaining ingredients into the food processor and pulse.
Tip in a shallow dish and place in the dehydrator to warm through for 6 hours
Serve with raw nachos and cauliflower rice for a truly raw Mexican night
